ATHENS — I am writing this piece on the margins of
a crucial negotiation with my country’s creditors — a negotiation the result of
which may mark a generation, and even prove a turning point for Europe’s
unfolding experiment with monetary union. Our government is not asking our
partners for a way out of repaying our debts. We are asking for a few months of
financial stability that will allow us to embark upon the task of reforms that
the broad Greek population can own and support, so we can bring back growth and
end our inability to pay our dues.
The major influence here is Immanuel Kant, the
German philosopher who taught us that the rational and the free escape the
empire of expediency by doing what is right. How do we know that our modest
policy agenda, which constitutes our red line, is right in Kant’s terms? We
know by looking into the eyes of the hungry in the streets of our cities or
contemplating our stressed middle class, or considering the interests of hard-working
people in every European village and city within our monetary union. After all,
Europe will only regain its soul when it
regains the people’s trust by putting their interests center-stage. Feb.16; http://nyti.ms/1EjuK1A
The Full Moon [25li] makes a sesquisquare aspect
to the Venus-Neptune conjunction placed on the descendant. Neptune [6pi] is
conjunct alpha (α) Piscis Austrinus, Fomalhaut, [4pi] a reddish star in the mouth of the Southern
Fish, Piscis Austrinus while Venus
[10pi] is conjunct stars in the Water-pourer’s urn. The Southern Fish is
usually depicted on star maps at the feet of Aquarius, where it swallows up the
water poured from his urn. Symbolically, the combination is referring to taking care of the needy.
To
understand this news we go back to the April 15, 2014 lunar eclipse which
occurred in the lunar cycle of March 30, 2014 New Moon on the 25 Aries-Libra
axis. Presented below is a summary of Nick Fiorenza’s [1] account on the lunar
cycle.
The Lunar Month of March 30, 2014 started with the
Jupiter-Uranus-Pluto T-Square already active.
It was conjunct Uranus within 2.5°, with the Sun and Moon activating the
catalytic T-Square, specifically Uranus, impelling radical innovative
solutions to break free from the conforming bounds of the past, a theme
continuing throughout this lunar cycle and
The New-Moon was also conjunct the Supergiant Garnet Star, Erakis of King
Cepheus. Erakis brings emphasis to
the administration of financial matters, and to the control and dispensation of
wealth and resources in the world and
for attainment beyond the obvious limitations and entrapments we may
face.
This lunar cycle stimulates a radical change in
authoritarian control of resources, especially of those trying to control,
dominate or suppress others. It invites us to make radical
changes in our personal lives that lift us out of our own entrapments.
The April 15 Total Lunar Eclipse occurs just into
sidereal Libra conjoining Ceres and Vesta opposite the Sun-Juno-Eris
conjunction. Notice also the Vesta-Ceres-Moon conjunction nesting between Mars
and the North Lunar Node, creating one entire energetic directly in opposition
to the entire stellium of planets including the Sun-Juno-Eris conjunction and
the Mercury-Uranus conjunction. Thus our Lunar Eclipse beccomes another
significant dynamic of the Grand
Square .
The Full Moon conjoins Spica and Archturus. Thus,
it brings out the essence of the Grand Square
gateway, starting now. It, along with Pluto's station, invites a relinquishment
and a refocus of our energies and efforts toward that which is far more of
issue than anything occurring on the global stage, ensuring the opportunity for
the safe evolutionary continuance and fulfillment for all of humankind and for
all of life on Earth. The Sun-Juno conjunction brings attention to
partnership of all types, those personal and those of business and politics,
and those between countries. The Lunar focus is Ceres and Vesta under the
Archturian directive—focus, dedication and commitment to the fundamental
nourishment required to support all life on Earth and for our evolutionary
fulfillment.
Our Full Moon brings us to the culmination point in
the Uranian Lunar Cycle, bringing realization about our need for a radical
departure from the past and to create a revolutionary new future that supports
humanity's greater wellbeing and freedom from bondage in the fear-based
technobeurocratic monster of collective human consciousness driving this world.
Letting go of old ways of interrelating in partnerships, and addressing our
need to change how we use our creative power in the world for what is truly
important (articulated by the Haumea,
Mars, Vesta, Ceres, North Lunar Node Full Moon) is the hallmark of this Total
Lunar Eclipse.
Haumea’s propensity is to intercede with dynamic
motion from a state of equilibrium and poise to support a new birth in
consciousness, especially the use of the fundamental primordial forces of life.
Haumea also appears to motivate action to reorient world powers’ militaristic
destructive use of power and resources into a nurturing force that supports and
protects life, home and family; and that aids humanity’s emergence into a
spiritually and primordial aware state of being.[2]
Progressing
the eclipse chart at Athens ,
to Feb. 16, the date of Yanis Varoufakis’ article, brings the Grand Cross to an
alignment with the meridian and the eclipse along with the dwarf planet Haumea
to the horizon axis triggering the dynamics of the eclipse. More specifically,
notice that the tone of the article resonates with what Nick Fiorenza’s writes
about Haumea.
