A man has been killed in a shark attack on the New South Wales north
coast, police say, a day after another man was injured by a shark in the same
area. Police said the man, believed to be a Japanese national, died at Shelly
Beach near Ballina, some 730km (452 miles) north of Sydney . Surfers helped him to shore and
performed first aid, but the man died. There have been several shark attacks
off Australia 's
beaches in recent years. The attack happened around 09:45 (22:45 GMT Sunday) on
Monday, police said. Friends of the man rushed him to shore to try to save him,
but could not. "Because both legs were gone, he bled to death very
quickly,'' the Associated Press news agency quoted Ballina Mayor David Wright
as saying. Feb.9; http://www.bbc.com/news/world-australia-31273081
As we have
seen in several past blogposts, eclipses just don’t disappear; their effects
can be felt long after they are gone. Here we will look at the April 29, 2014
solar eclipse chart drawn for Ballina. Notice that a very prominent Grand Cross
aspects the meridian axis. Ebertin interprets the Uranus-Pluto-Mars of the
Cross as under.
Uranus-Pluto-Mars: An act of
violence; injury, accident.
The eclipse
[9ta] along with Mercury [13ta] is conjunct the stars gamma (γ) Cetus,
Kaffaljidhma [9ta], gamma (γ) Andromeda, Almach [14ta] and alpha (α) Cetus,
Menkar [14ta]. Cetus represents the sea monster or whale sent by Neptune to devour Andromeda. Menkar is a bright orange
star in the open jaw of the Sea Monster
while Almach is a star in the snagged foot of Andromeda often depicted close to
the Monster’s mouth.
Progressing
the chart to February 8, the date of the accident, we find that the Grand Cross
now straddles the horizon axis and is thus activated.
Finally a
chart drawn for February 8, 22:45 GMT – the time of the attack has the Moon
[13li] triggering the Uranus [13ar] – Pluto [13cp] square in the eclipse chart.
