An otter cub found orphaned in Perthshire is
recovering in the care of the Scottish SPCA. The charity was alerted after the
eight-week-old cub was found in Methven on 4 February. Bosses said it was
"amazing" the young female had survived a night out of her holt in
the cold. The cub, which SSPCA staff have named Dipper, will remain in their
care until it is at least a year old before being returned to the wild. http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-scotland-tayside-central-31418649
The
incident occurred just after a Full Moon – a chart for which is shown here. The
Moon [14le18] was conjunct the stars Kochab, beta Ursa Minoris [13le33] and
Dubhe, alpha Ursa Minoris [15le23] i.e. stars of the Mother Bear with her cub. Diana
Rosenberg links this area to “issues relating to the destruction or protection
of children, animals and the environment.” [1].
Notice a
T-square straddling the horizon axis. The elements of the T-square are
interpreted as below:
Ceres- Uranus-Pluto: an abandonment
or separation of a child from its mother.
The
Ascendant [18li] and the TNP Zeus [17li] are conjunct the star Seginus, gamma
Bootes.
To the
Arabs Bootis was Al Haris al Soma,
Protector of Heaven and Al Haris al Samak, Protector of the
Defenceless One. Bootes is often portrayed as a Shepherd who cares for his flock
and at times looking for those animals which may haven been lost [2].
Also note
that the Ascendant and MC aspect Neptune-Venus-Mars
in Pisces – a combination that is linked to compassion and sensitivity to the
anguish of all creatures that are troubled.
