This extraordinary picture shows the mummifed male
body which is believed to be several centuries old. It was found at 6.30 pm 27 January 2015 in
Songinokhairkhan province, reported Mongolia 's 'Morning Newspaper'. It
was not clear if it was the skin of a cow, horse, or camel, said the report.
The mummy was delivered to Ulaanbataar National Centre of Forensic Expertise'. Initial
speculation is that the mummy could be a teacher of famous Lama Dashi-Dorzho
Itigilov. Dashi-Dorzho Itigilov, born in 1852, was a Buryat Buddhist Lama of
the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, best known for the lifelike state of his body. His
remains were reported not to be subject to macroscopic decay. 'The mummified
body sits in a lotus position, as if still meditating. 'Experts that only had
time to carry basic visual test say they believe the body can be about 200
years old'. http://bit.ly/16xEiL4
Shown here
is the chart for the First Quarter Moon of Jan.27 at Ulaanbataar. The Moon [7ta]
is placed very appropriately in the 12th – a house connected with mystics and saints
who pursue their spiritual endeavours in isolation from the world [1]. The Sun
[7aq] and the MC [3aq] are conjunct Alpha (α) Aquila, Altair, a star in the constellation
of the Eagle and theta Indus in the
constellation of Indus. The eagle is a high
flying bird – a metaphor for mystics, occultists, and wise spiritual hierophants
of mystery-religions whose spiritual endeavours aim to transcend the
limitations of the body. Indus is a southern
constellation and usually represented by an Indian or a native and keeper of
sacred places [2]
Finally,
notice that the Moon [6ta55] is conjunct the Kronos-Neptune midpoint [7ta09]. Neptune
is linked to meditative/spiritual practices[3] in general. Kronos [4] is a TNP
that is associated with authorities or masters in their field so that the
combination of Neptune-Kronos is
here referring to a mystic or a master of spiritual or meditative techniques.
Also
emphasized in the First Quarter Moon
chart is the Saturn-Neptune square brought into prominence by its placement on
the horizon axis. About Saturn-Neptune. Bill
Streett [5] in his brilliant essay “The
Desert of the Real: The Saturn-Neptune Gestalt” writes:
The Saturn-Neptune religious response is seen in
the world-renouncing, cloistered ascetic—a sort of anemic, self-flagellating
character that is aimed at purifying the bodily and worldly so as to arrive at
a state of essence.
