Rape of Persephone: Classical mythology
Former tennis Grand Slam champion Bob Hewitt has
been found guilty by a South African court of raping underage girls. Hewitt,
75, had denied two charges of rape and a third charge of sexual assault. The
attacks took place in the 1980s and 1990s, when the Australian-born former
tennis star was coaching the women, then young girls, in South Africa. March

Among
cardinal ingress charts, the Capricorn Ingress of the Sun has a special place
in mundane astrology. Shown here is the Capricorn Ingress chart for
Johannesburg, South Africa. In mundane astrology a chart drawn a chart becomes
significant for a place when planets aspect the horizon or meridian (angles). Here we notice that a Venus- Pluto conjunction
is on the IC square Uranus on the descendant. Venus-Pluto hard aspects have been
related in Greek mythology to sexual
violence and rape. [1] [2]
Progressing
the ingress chart to March 23 when the Judge delivered the verdict we find the
progressed meridian once again touches the Venus-Pluto-Uranus square triggering
the event. The stars conjunct Uranus [12ar] are mu Cephei of King Cepheus and 14 Andromedae in chained hand of the Princess. About this area Diana Rosenberg writes:
With Cepheus and Andromeda, there are often father-daughter issues, including (but not necessarily) possible physical and/or sexual abuse.
Here father-daughter issues should be read figuratively as referring to issues between father figures and young girls.
