Ferguson,
Missouri (CNN): Loistine Hoskin cared for her old car as a sentimental
possession, missing a tire while parked beside her home, until one day the city
ticketed her for having a "derelict vehicle in driveway." A tow truck
took it away in 2009. So began an odyssey with Ferguson police, municipal court
and city hall that left her with $1,200 in fines that to this day she still
doesn't fully understand. She paid the sum because endless court hearings about

The Full Moon
of March 5 was placed very significantly on the meridian with the stars of the
Twins, Propus eta Geminorum and Tejat, mu Geminorum on the Ascendant. As always under the Twins
there are family issues and on a larger scale universal brotherhood concerns. Issues
of hatred, intolerance and bigotry can be major problems under the Twins (notice the weapon each Twin carries) so
that Diana Rosenberg records the following instances when these stars were
transited:
In 1099 when
Crusaders conquered Jerusalem and slaughtered Muslims and Jews in a ghastly
bloodbath; at the St. Bartholomew’s Eve massacre of the Hugenots, Paris, 1572;
at a July 1619 Solar Eclipse one month before African slaves were brought to Virginia;
at the birth of ardent, violent anti-slavery activist John Brown; at the
murderous largely race motivated 1863 anti-draft riots in New York City during
the US Civil War; in 1865 when the Ku Klux Klan was founded in Tennessee; this
was the position of the Moon in 1968 when Rev. Martin Luther King was assassinated
and many others.
As we have
seen in previous posts, it is when the star theme of a lunation resonates with
the theme of the stars on the angles that important events take place. Here the
Full Moon is on the IC conjunct stars of tropical Virgo. For some tropical
Virgo with its emphasis on purity can become skewed into distrust and hatred of
outsiders, even to fanatic xenophobia; others working from the same source
denounce prejudice and injustice. So it
is not surprising that the Full Moon in tropical Virgo along with the stars of
the Twins on the Ascendant at Ferguson brings events like the one in the news in
which issues of intolerance are
highlighted.
Finally on
the Ascendant are the TNPs Kronos-Hades. Key phrases for this combination are:

government or those in authority have indulged in “dirty business”; to have
losses through contact with police or officials; to hear of hidden motives of
the police or those in authority.
