A
passenger train has derailed in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh,
killing at least 31 people, a railway spokesman told the BBC. The engine and
two carriages of the Janta Express, which travels between Dehradun and
Varanasi, went off the rails near Bachhrawan village. Several dozen people were
injured in the accident, officials said. Villagers, police and railway guards
are trying to rescue passengers trapped in the carriages. Images from the scene
show mangled carriages lying beside the track. March 20; http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-india-31979496
The accident
has taken place exactly on the day of the Solar Eclipse which was conjunct the
star Scheat. A chart drawn for Varanasi, which is fairly close to where the
accident took place, has the eclipse in the 8th house. The star
Scheat is associated with catastrophes and accidents [1] of all kinds while the
eighth house is linked to deaths [2] so that the combination explains the news.
Eighth House
Danger to the people through war or
national disasters. [2]
