ISIS demolishes ancient Iraq site

Archaeologists and officials have expressed outrage about the bulldozing of the ancient Assyrian city of Nimrud by Islamic State militants in Iraq. Nimrud lies about 30km (18 miles) south-east of Mosul. On Thursday IS - which controls swathes of Iraq and Syria - began demolishing the site, which was founded in the 13th Century BC, Iraqi officials said. The head of UN's cultural agency condemned the "systematic" destruction in Iraq as a "war crime". IS says ancient shrines and statues are "false idols" that have to be smashed. The effect of eclipses can be seen in events long after they are gone. This is especially true in places where eclipses or major configurations accompanying them aspect the angles as is the case here. Shown here is the chart for the solar eclipse of April 29, 2014 drawn for Mosul. The eclipse [9ta]  is conjunct stars in the butting head of the Ram and the fearsome head of the sea monster. The passion, urgency and primal animal energy that characterizes this area is known to produce an aggressive fixity,  lack of diplomacy  and an unwillingness to refine attitudes  making some dictatorial, arrogant, immoral and cruel. Also here is the star Azha, eta Eridanus [9ta]. Eridanus was an ancient celestial river. As a symbol, a river relates to the creative power of nature and time and everything transitory: the flux of the world and the irreversible passage of time.  Unlike earthly rivers, Eridanus is depicted flowing upstream symbolizing a return to the past. News connected with  ancient artifacts is, therefore, quite appropriate under stars of Eridanus.

 With a Grand Cross straddling the horizon axis, the eclipse is very significant for the place.  The combination of Jupiter-Pluto-Mars-Zeus  is easily related to the actions of religious fanatics and hot heads.  The Mars leg of the Cross is placed in the fourth house. The Fourth House rules everything that relates to the foundation and roots of our existence including cultural artifacts and treasures. Therefore, contained in the Cross is the possibility of the destruction of cultural treasures by religious fanatics. The trigger for the destructive act was provided by the progressing angles on March 6 as the Grand Cross aligned with the meridian.
