Uranus-Pluto square produces change in US stance on Syria

March 15, 2015 "ICH" - The United States will have to negotiate with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to end the civil war now entering its fifth year, US Secretary of State John Kerry told CBS News in an interview that aired Sunday. Washington has long insisted that Assad must be replaced through a negotiated, political transition, but the rise of a common enemy, the hard-line militant group Islamic State (IS), appears to have slightly softened the West’s stance towards him. In the interview, Kerry did not repeat the standard US line that Assad had lost all legitimacy and had to go. The last of the seven Uranus-Pluto squares takes place on March 17; 2:54 UT. Just two days prior (on March 15) to the exact square  the Moon conjoined Pluto triggering the square.  Shown here are two charts. The first one is a chart for the Uranus-Pluto square drawn at the midpoint between Damascus, Syria and Washinhton DC, USA. Notice that it is placed very prominently in aspect to the meridian. One of the keyphrases for the square is ‘ a breakdown or breakthrough’.  It appears that we have a breakthrough here. The second chart is the Sibly lunar return. This too carries the same signature.

The Ascendant of both charts is conjunct the Galactic Center [26sa]. About the GC, Philip Sedgwick writes:

The Galactic Center recently received verification that it contains a black hole as its center. The resulting energy squeeze emits a wide array of powerful radiation, most notably infrared (IFR) in this instance. In summary, both the GC and the Uranus-Pluto square have combined to produce the US desire to "re-ignite" negotiations with President Bashar al-Assad to end the conflict in Syria.
