Dolphins Stranded on Beach Outside Tokyo Feared Dead

Reports from Japan indicate that nearly 150 melon-headed whales, which are part of the dolphin family, are feared to have died after being stranded on a beach 60 miles northeast of Tokyo. Attempts to take the animals back into the water were unsuccessful. April 10 http://news.yahoo.com/more-130-dolphins-beach-japan-070014141.html

To understand this unusual event we will start with the sidereal Capricorn Ingress chart at Tokyo. Notice that it has a prominent Mars-Saturn-Neptune square on the angles. On the MC is the star Algol. To the Chinese Algol was Tsi-Chi, “The Heaped-Up Corpses”. Among other things, Diana Rosenberg links this area to “mass deaths of animals” [1]. If we combine this with the fact that Mars and Neptune are conjunct the star Fomalhaut , alpha Pisces Austrinus of the Southern Fish the pile of corpses can be seen to be referring to the dead dolphins.

In  ancient Chinese astrology, Mars [2pi] and Neptune [5pi] are part of the Chinese asterism Wei which presided over death, demise, tears and cries. With Neptune and Mars are the asteroids Eros, Orpheus and Psyche all of which are square Saturn.  This is a combination that one can link to psychological trauma, depression and suicide.

Progressing the ingress chart to April 10, brings the Mars-Saturn-Neptune square to an alignment with the meridian triggering the event. The star Algol is once again on the angles – this time on the descendant.
