India Launches Air Quality Index to Clean Up Environment

Launching the first national air quality index in New Delhi on Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said India's contribution to the pollution level in the world was one of the lowest and urged the countrymen to change their lifestyle in order to help protect the environment. Speaking at the inauguration of a two-day conference of state environment and forest ministers, PM Modi expressed hope that the conference will prove to be a platform to hold detailed discussions which might be formulated in policies in future.  April 6 http://bit.ly/1NNjvBR

The PM has launched the program on the eve of the Waning Gibbous Moon – a chart for which is shown here. Notice that the Moon conjoins Saturn in the 3rd house which rules all forms of information dissemination [1] including conferences. Both these are square Neptune placed in the 6th house of public health concerns [2] . The following reference [3] tells us that Saturn-Neptune aspects are related to respiratory illnesses so that concern about air quality is but natural.

Saturn/Neptune/Pisces combinations create situations of chronic conditions and long term illnesses, usually in the respiratory systems, especially in the lungs, such as bronchitis, tuberculosis, lung cancer, asthma, etc.

In addition stars on the angles resonate to respiratory issues. On the MC is rho Aurigae on the Charioteer’s chest connected to lung ailments [4] and on the IC is Grumium, xi Draconics in the constellation of the dragon, Draco [5] which in legend has been linked to the scattering of poison all over the world [6]. This can be interpreted as environmental pollution.

It may be relevant to mention here that the current Capricorn Ingress chart for Delhi has the Saturn-Neptune square straddling the meridian axis suggesting that air pollution may be an important issue for India. The Gibbous Moon activates this too.
