India Scraps Arms Purchase with France at Pluto Station

The news comes to us at the sidereal Aries Ingress of the Sun. Shown here is a chart for the ingress drawn for Delhi.  Notice the T-square containing Zeus-Uranus-Pluto straddling the horizon axis. Zeus is a TNP associated with fires, guns and the military.

Pluto is  conjunct omicron (ο) Sagittarius, Manubrium, of the Archer and early stars of Aquila the Eagle. Ancient images show the Archer with wings. The Eagle is a raptor – a bird of prey – associated with the military in general but more specifically with the air force. In the image it combines with the Archer to produce a perfect symbol for a military aircraft. Pluto as the apex of the T-square is afflicted by Uranus and the TNP Zeus and positioned in the seventh house. About the issues ruled by this house Deborah Houlding at Skyscript writes [1]:

Treaties and agreements with other nations. ....afflictions here show diplomatic blunders, breaking of treaties, commercial and trade disputes with foreign countries and general disagreement in international affairs.

Among other things Pluto rules large financial contracts. In the ingress chart Pluto is stationing to go retrograde on April 17. As part of the Uranus-Pluto square this represents a sudden change of direction in the ongoing financial deal for the purchase of the aircrafts.
