US geologist Xue Feng freed at lunar eclipse

A US geologist convicted of spying in China has been freed and returned to America, a human rights group says. Dr Xue Feng was arrested in 2007 and in 2010 was sentenced to eight years in prison for stealing state secrets. The Dui Hua foundation, which campaigns for clemency and better treatment for detainees in China, said that the geologist had arrived home in the US city of Houston. Eclipses end old chapters in our lives and start new ones. Nowhere is this more dramatic then in news stories from places where the eclipse aspects the horizon or meridian axis. We saw such a case in a previous post where a jailed inmate was freed [1]. In the present case the eclipse is on the horizon axis and the same stars apply as in [1].
