China’s ‘nail houses’: Homeowners who refuse to budge

A three storey house stands in the middle of a newly built road in China’s Henan province on May 16, 2015. Construction was put to a halt as the owner refused to move because of a dispute about compensation. In China, they're known as "nail houses" -- homes where owners refuse to accept compensation offered by road builders and developers in exchange for the demolition of their property. The dwellings stand like a nail that refuses to be hammered down -- a not uncommon phenomenon as some homeowners resist dispossession of their land or hold out for more money. http://edition.cnn.com/2015/05/19/asia/gallery/china-nail-houses/index.html

Shown here is the chart for the New Moon drawn for Zhengzhou, capital of Henan province. Notice that it  is placed on the MC activating the Mars-Saturn opposition. The New Moon is in Taurus. The Bull makes people stubborn, dogged, determined, win-at-all-costs and unyielding. Mars is in Gemini, the sign ruled by Mercury – the god of roads. About Mars-Saturn, Ebertin writes, “all will directed activity meets with complete resistance…disputes”. So the planetary elements seem to describe the news quite well. But why house owners? The TNP Cupido [25sa] [1] which refers among other things to homes and residences and the asteroid House [11ar] both form hard aspects to the New Moon [27ta] so that by association we have a connection to stubborn (Taurus New Moon) house owners (Cupido and House)   ready to pick up a fight (Mars-Saturn) and not give up their houses for road construction (Gemini).
