Granddaddy of all birds discovered in China

China’s Great Red Bird

The fossilized discovery in China of modern birds' oldest relative puts their origin six million years earlier than previously thought. The fossils of the oldest known ancestor of modern birds, found by paleontologists in China, has prompted scientists to rethink the date of the first appearance of the Ornithuromorpha clade of birds, which includes all modern species. As a result of the discovery, the date has jumped back by around six million years to 130.7 million years ago, a team led by researchers from the Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology in Beijing announced on Tuesday (May 5). According to the findings, published in the journal Nature Communications, the animal, named Archaeornithura meemannae, was a wading bird, which used its long legs like today's cranes and herons to look for food on the shores of a lake. http://sputniknews.com/asia/20150506/1021779019.html

Among cardinal ingresses of the Sun, the Capricorn Ingress chart holds a special place in mundane astrology. Shown here is the chart for the Capricorn Ingress at Beijing, China. Notice that a prominent T-squares straddles the meridian and the Ascendant [22sa] and Moon [28sa] are conjunct the Galactic Centre [27sa]. Philip Sedgwick [1] suggests that the GC is connected with new developments in aviation. The reconstructed  “root” of AVIATION is awi (bird).  To AVIATE is to fly, from Latin avis (bird).

When the Wright Brothers successfully flew their mechanized aircraft on the beaches of North Carolina in December 1903, the Galactic Center constituted the midpoint of the Sun/Uranus conjunction in late Sagittarius. So, the Galactic Center perpetually plays a part in aviation, especially where existing technology fails and new engineering must result. Consider that when Uranus, hand-in-hand with Saturn, crossed these degrees in the late 1980's commercial aircraft manufacturers toyed with new ways of engine propulsion. They went back to turboprop bearing Saturn’s link to the past. But now they put the engines in a new place, at the rear of the plane to honor Uranus. But to give the Uranus return of modern flight extra consideration, the propellers took residence on the rear of the engines. These ideas, though, never really got off the ground.

So here we have a hint that the chart might be referring to the origin of flight. But the chart goes further than that by a reference to birds. On the MC [14li] are stars of the Virgin’s wing, the Crow’s wing and China’s Great Red Bird. These combine with tropical Libra element of air to produce events connected with flight and aviation. In addition  a powerful T-square containing  the Uranus-Pluto combination, which is linked to technological breakthroughs, straddles the meridian axis.

But can we sure that this chart is referring to the discovery mentioned in the news? Well all it takes to find out is to progress the chart to May 5 when the horizon axis now aspects the T-square providing the trigger for the discovery.
