Huge diplomatic victory for Russia

Unless you read Russian or monitor the free blogosphere, you might not have noticed this, but something big just happened in Russia: Kerry, Nuland and a large State Department delegation have traveled to Sochi were they met with Foreign Minister Lavrov and then with President Putin.  With the latter they spent over 4 hours.  Not only that, but Kerry made a few rather interesting remarks, saying that the Minsk-2 Agreement (M2A) was the only way forward and that he would strongly caution Poroshenko against the idea of renewing military operations. For one thing, this means that the so-called “isolation of Russia” is now officially over, even for the “Indispensable Empire”. Second, this is, as far as I know, the first official US endorsement of M2A.  This is rather humiliating for the US considering that M2A was negotiated without the Americans. So what planetary combinations are driving these changes? Well we have at least two indicators that appear to support these changes. The first one is Mercury [13ge] about to station retrograde (May 19) on the US Sibly’s 7th house cusp [12ge] linked to “disputes” and “enemies”[1]. Among other things a retrograde Mercury period is about a possible change of mind [2].

The second indicator is Mars opposite Saturn (exact on May 15). A Mars-Saturn transit can denote a period when we need to take a thoughtful look at how we have been acting or not acting on life issues. A Saturn opposition to Mars puts pressure on the need to take action based on exclusive self-interest. Mars tends to make rash moves that are uncontrollably impulsive, Saturn then slows down Mars. At some level we feel stuck as if “put in place” by unsympathetic forces that deny us the freedom to pursue our selfish agenda. Since Mars is connected to war, Saturn is testing how “war” would serve the current US interests. So far Washington’s attempt to stir up war in Ukraine has not been working, realistic Saturn is, therefore, is shutting down Mars’ attempt to start a war with Russia.

But how can we be sure that Mars opposite Saturn is affecting the US-Russia relationship? A chart drawn for the opposition at the midpoint between Moscow and Washington has it placed very significantly on the horizon axis.

To complete the picture let us look at the chart for the Mars-Saturn opposition at Washington.  Notice that the opposition straddles the meridian while Neptune squares it. Ebertin’s key phrases for Mars-Saturn-Neptune are:

Mars-Saturn-Neptune: Weak vitality; insufficient power to tackle resistance or any obstacles in one’s path-way of life; waning powers and weakening efforts.

Doesn’t that sound like Washington’s climb down on the Ukraine crisis?

PS:

Is Washington Coming To Its Senses? By Paul Craig Roberts
There is much speculation about US Secretary of State John Kerry’s rush visit to Russia in the wake of Russia’s successful Victory Day celebration on May 9. On May 11, Kerry, who was snubbing Russia on the 9th, was on his way to Russia, and Putin consented to see him on May 12. http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article41861.htm

Shown here is a chart drawn for Mercury station retrograde which we mentioned earlier is about a change of mind. Notice that Mercury is placed significantly on the descendant at Washington DC. The Sabian symbol for the MC (8li) says it all:

A BLAZING FIREPLACE IN A DESERTED HOME

This suggests a wayward consciousness returning to center and the ever–renascent  hope of a new beginning
