A faithful dog has refused to leave the side of his dead
master's grave for six years, it was reported today. German shepherd Capitan
ran away from home after the death of Argentinian Miguel Guzman in 2006. A week
later Mr Guzman's family went to pay their respects and found the heartbroken
pet sitting by his owner's grave, wailing. Since then the grieving dog has
rarely left the spot at the cemetery in the town of Villa Carlos Paz, central
Argentina. Mr Guzman bought Capitan as a present for his 13-year-old son Damian
in 2005. He died suddenly in March the next year, but by the time his family
had returned home from the funeral Capitan was gone Sept 13, 2012. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2202509/Loyal-dog-ran-away-home-dead-masters-grave--stayed-years.html#ixzz3ZM4YMKaz
This news is best understood
if we begin by looking at the Sun’s ingress chart for the prevailing quarter
i.e. the Cancer Ingress chart. Here the Sun is in the 6th house
associated with pets. Notice that an exalted Saturn [22li] squares the horizon
axis and Mercury [23cn] on the descendant [24cn]. Saturn exalted in Libra indicates
commitment and faithfulness in relationships [1] while Mercury and the
descendant are conjunct the star Procyon [26cn]. Alpha (α Canis Minor),
Procyon, is a binary yellowish white and yellow star on the body of the Lesser
Dog [2].
In addition, Moon [15cn] which squares the meridian is conjunct
Sirius, alpha Canis Major. Alpha (α) Canis Major, Sirius, is a binary, brilliant
white and yellow star in the Greater dog [3]. It is the brightest star in the
night sky.
The asteroid Diana
[22sc] is opposite Orpheus [25ta]
with both making aspects to Mercury[23cn] on the descendant [24cn]. In the
present context the combination Diana-Orpheus
refers to an animal that is grieving [4].
Finally, if we progress the
ingress chart to September 13, 2012, the date of the news, we find that Saturn
has reached the progressed descendant while Mercury is on the progressed IC triggering the event reported.
