Sperm Grown in a Lab for the First Time

In a breakthrough that could lead to a treatment for thousands of infertile men, scientists have grown human sperm cells in a laboratory for the first time. The Kallistem laboratory, a private research facility based in Lyon, France, has turned spermatogonia into mature sperm in test tubes. This is a feat that scientists have been trying to tackle for the past 15 years. May 12; http://bit.ly/1ENmWo3

Shown here is the chart for the Waning Crescent Moon of May 14 drawn for Lyons, France. Notice that the prominent Mars-Saturn opposition has been brought to the horizon axis. Since Mars is associated with the sexual function and Saturn with impairment, inhibition or dysfunctionality, the combination of Mars-Saturn has been linked to impotence or infertility. But there is more here. Uranus, the planet of breakthroughs and scientific discoveries, is placed in the 5th house linked to procreativity and  makes hard aspects to the Mars-Saturn combination. What can we expect? A breakthrough in treatment for infertility!

Finally, we note that the Sun [23ta] which also opposes Saturn and the Ascendant  is in the sign Taurus. Taurus is the Bull, and if we explore the mythological connections of this animal in ancient cultures, we find that the bull represents the force which animates forms of all kinds. The bull symbolizes fertility, growth and the season of springtime [1]. Meanwhile the Crescent Moon [8ar] is conjunct the star Algenib, Gamma Pegasus on the tip of this horse's wing. Algenib is considered a fortunate star and articulates our capacity to lift ourselves out of our troubles. Here the Algenib Moon in a hard aspect to the Taurus  Sun is hinting at the discovery mentioned in the news whereby humankind will now be able to rise above  or resolve (Algenib) the problems associated with sexual dysfunctionality (Taurus)
