Americans Have Lost Confidence ... in Everything

Americans have little confidence in most of their major institutions including Congress, the presidency, the Supreme Court, banks and organized religion, according to the latest Gallup poll. "Americans' confidence in most major U.S. institutions remains below the historical average for each one," a Gallup spokesman said in a news release. Only 8 percent have confidence in Congress, down by 16 points from a long-term average of 24 percent – the lowest of all institutions rated. The rating is about the same as last year's 7 percent, the lowest Gallup has ever measured for any institution. Are there any astrological indicators to show the precipitous decline in confidence shown by the Gallup Poll?  To answer this question we begin with the chart of  lunar eclipse of October 8, 2014. Notice that the eclipse was placed sharply on the horizon at Washington, DC implying that it had an important message for the place.  The defining configuration in the chart is the Uranus-Pluto square about which Nick  Fiorenza writes:

In general, the revolutionary uprising and spontaneous force of Uranus synthesizing  with Pluto's intensified dismantling and opening force in the very depths of consciousness can produce an intense cultural and social rebellion that motivates a profound and radical transformation in collective consciousness. On one hand, this synthesis brings attention to radical, non-conforming, rebellious, authoritarian destructive use of power and its ramifications rippling through generations to follow. On the other, it can motivate radical and mind-expanding change in the very foundation of matter, energy and consciousness that breaks us from very deep-seated and long-standing genetic, cultural and social behavioral patterns. Uranus stimulates the collective human populous, the masses. It impels the people to initiate action to create radical change in the existing techno-bureaucratic paradigm. Uranus stimulates a revolution based upon the revelations catalyzed by Pluto.  It stimulates a radical, perhaps rude, awakening in the collective in a way that impels people to no longer acquiesce to financial entrapment and the manipulation of resources by authoritarian bureaucracies.

The second combination in the eclipse Grand Cross is the  TNPs Hades-Kronos on the MC.

Hades-Kronos: to note disgust with the government, legislators or the leadership.

If we progress the eclipse chart to June 17, the date of the news, we find the Ascendant now conjunct the Hades-Kronos combination triggering  its meaning which is well reflected in the Gallup poll.
