Full Moon incites Manipur rebels

A massive combing operation was underway on Friday to track down insurgents in areas of Chandel district of Manipur where 18 army jawans were killed and 11 others injured in an ambush on Thursday, police sources here said.  The search operation was being conducted at Paralong, Charong, Moltuh and some other areas to track down the insurgents who had launched attack on the army jawans, the sources said. They, however, could not say whether anyone was detained or arrested in connection with yesterday's incident, saying that the search operation was being conducted by the army and Assam Rifles personnel. The army or Assam Rifles could not be contacted. In the worst such attack in two decades, insurgents had ambushed a military convoy in Manipur's Chandel district killing at least 18 army personnel and injuring 11 others. June 5 Times of India

The attacks by the rebels on the Indian soldiers took place on June 4, just two days after the Full Moon. A chart for the Moon phase at Delhi is shown here. But more specifically the June 2 Full Moon was conjunct the star Antares. In several recent posts we have seen that this star is about “taking a stand against the established conditions of our personal lives and against the established order or authority directing our lives when those conditions or that authority are no longer in our best interest nor supporting our evolutionary freedom and greatest fulfillment”.

Pluto is on the Ascendant square Uranus and also part of a Yod with Mars and Jupiter. On the Full Moon day, notice that Mars is in a sharp quincunx to Pluto. This is an aspect known to bring about sudden violent events. But let us look upon Mars as a trigger to the Uranus-Pluto square about which Bill Herbst writes [1]:

The alignment indicates a breakdown in our largest institutions (Capricorn) that starts from within the institutions themselves as an egregious overplaying of their power in ways that are clearly self-serving rather than for the greater good (Pluto), which is then furthered by an unexpected rebellion (Uranus) against institutional malfeasance, a seemingly spontaneous insurrection that occurs from the ground level up, fomented by individuals (Aries) who stand up in protest against the oppressive influence of such institutions. Actually, these insurrections aren’t spontaneous; they’ve been brewing invisibly under the surface, slowly heating up as discontent with the status quo grows. Such rebellions manifest as potent and disruptive forces in the collective, however, only after critical mass is reached at the boiling point, so that they appear to arise full-blown and without precedent, as if out of nowhere.

This explains the root cause behind the attack.
