Slave ship artefacts discovered off Cape Town

Artefacts from a slave ship wrecked off South Africa are due to be unveiled in Cape Town. They are thought to be the first objects to be recovered from a slave ship that went down while it was transporting people. Archaeologists hope the objects will help scholars, as well as be a memorial to all those caught up in the trade. Millions of Africans were transported as part of the trans-Atlantic slave trade and many died on the journey. Remnants from shackles, iron bars used as ballast for the ship and a wooden pulley block will be shown for the first time at Cape Town's Iziko Slave Lodge museum on Tuesday. A Total Lunar Eclipse occurred on April 4, 2015.  The Sun was conjunct the South Node and Uranus with both square Pluto, creating a Full Moon T-Square straddling the horizon axis at Cape Town. A South Node eclipse refers to the past.  So that with Uranus in Aries square Pluto in Capricorn, this square reminds us of the struggle for the freedom of the individual against powerful institutions that thrived on repression and control. More specifically, the South Node [9ar59] is conjunct  the star 12 Andromedae [9ar16] near the chained right hand of Andromeda [2] – a perfect symbol for slavery!

On the Ascendant [14cn] is the star Canopus. Alpha (α) Carina, Canopus,[15cn] is a white binary star in the Keel of the ship Argo Navis, the brightest star in the constellation of Argo Navis, the Great Ship, and the second biggest star in the sky. So the pieces of the jigsaw come together. The eclipse is reminding us about a slave ship!

But why is this news coming to us on June 1? If we now progress the eclipse chart to June 1, we find the T-square aligns with the meridian triggering the event. The star on the MC is once again Canopus of Argo Navis, the Celestial Ship.
