US man freed after four decades in solitary confinement

Andromeda being freed

A judge in the US state of Louisiana has ordered the release of an inmate who has been in solitary confinement for more than 40 years. Judge James Brady also banned prosecutors from trying Albert Woodfox, 68, for a third time. He has been in solitary confinement since 18 April 1972 after a prison riot that resulted in the death of a guard. Woodfox was tried twice for the guard's death, but both convictions were later overturned. He denies all the charges. Woodfox was confined for 23 hours a day, with an hour outside his cell to "walk alone along the tier on which his cell is located", according to court documents from a case challenging his prison conditions. A heart rending story of inhuman treatment of an  jail inmate but with a happy ending much like previous one that we had logged on this blogsite [1]. Here  as in the previous case we start with the last lunar eclipse at Angola, Louisiana where Woodfox served his time. The eclipse is placed very significantly on the horizon axis as a part of a T-square with Uranus-Pluto. The Sun and Uranus are conjunct the star Alpheratz, alpha Andromeda.

Alpheratz is one of four stars of the Great Square of Pegasus and is part of Andromeda and Pegasus, the Winged Horse. Princess Andromeda is shown in chains. By its alternative name Alpheratz is  Sirrah,  Delta Pegasus. Alignments with Alpheratz can indicate being caught in the power plays unconsciously created by the arrogance or denials of others The stars of the Great Square of Pegasus, and the relationship of Andromeda and Pegasus, reveal the stage of freedom from bondage [2].

Progressing the chart to June 9, 2015, the date Woodfox’s release brings the T-square containing the eclipse to an aspect with the horizon axis triggering the event.
