Will the Eurozone survive Grexit?

A Greek exit from the eurozone would throw the bloc into chaos and put the “whole cohesion of the western alliance in doubt”, a key figure in the country’s private sector debt restructuring has warned.
While banks had reduced their exposure to Greece, which represents less than 2pc of eurozone gross domestic product (GDP), investors are being too complacent about the implications of a Greek exit, which could have far-reaching political ramifications and amplify the polarisation between the eurozone’s core and periphery, Hung Tran, executive managing director of the Institute of International Finance (IIF), said.

In this post  we look at the chart of  the EU and the recent solar eclipse to try and understand what can be expected on June 30 when Greece needs to pay its creditors or exit from the eurozone.  In the EU chart, the last Solar Eclipse took place exactly on the descendant. The following is an extract from Nick Fiorenza  [1] which explains what this eclipse is about.

Our Equinox Total Solar Eclipse lunar cycle, the first cycle after the final Uranus-Pluto square, sets an entirely new energetic compared to the transitional process occurring from when the square started in 2012 through the last lunar cycle of February 18, 2015. This lunar cycle fully engages the action quarter of the 138-year Uranus-Pluto cycle that began in the mid-1960s. This lunar cycle impels progressive action to create a new beginning from the revelations gained over the last few years, especially revelations regarding the miss-use of power by big-business and political plutocrats, and the increasing economic disparity. Pluto’s multi-year passage through Sagittarius also impelled a shift from “money is power” to “knowledge is power,” the self-empowerment movement that fuels the increasing rebellious response (Uranus square) to the old-world plutocratic-driven paradigm.

This lunar cycle brings attention to our longer-term interests and desires, which is also an underlying current for this entire year due to the December 2014 Solstice New Moon occurring on the Gate of God of Earth’s Precessional Cross (and just after the sixth Uranus-Pluto geocentric square). It brings emphasis to radically transform our fundamental ways of living and our material values and pursuits to establish sustainability based from spiritual ethics and a mature sense of morality for all life. It impels us to elevate and equilibrate the conditions of living amongst all people. It is now clear to a much wider populous that the failing economic and political systems do not serve the awakening new consciousness on Earth—innovative revolution determined for solution is at hand.

With the eclipse so prominently placed on the 7th cusp of alliances and treaties in the EU chart, Nick Fiorenza’s message is a warning that alliances may come apart if they are based on the “miss-use of power by big-business and political plutocrats” exactly what we are seeing in the tussle between Greece and the EU.

H.S. Green in his book “Mundane or National Astrology” has laid down the principles of mundane astrology with several examples to illustrate how they work. In Chapter XIII, “Transits and Directions in Mundane Astrology” he explains how directions to angles are calculated.

“The place of an eclipse may be directed in a mundane map, and the direction is always to the cusp of the next of the four angles at which it will arrive in the ordinary course of mundane rotation. This will constitute the conjunction or the opposition of the midheaven or of the ascendant.
The reader will, of course, note that although it is possible to direct the place of an eclipse to an angle in this way, the day so indicated is not the only time when the effect of the eclipses are felt. Some of these effects are usually manifested quickly after the eclipse, just as they are with an ordinary New Moon; others may be experienced under a transit; and yet others about the date indicated by directions to the angles”.

Applying  this rule if we progress the eclipse chart to June 30, when Greece is expected to pay up or leave the EU, we find that the eclipse reaches the descendant exactly. Obviously, this means that the crisis described above will be felt around that date.
