Can America get past its obsession with wars?

July 14, 2015 "Information Clearing House" - "SCF" -   Have you noticed? American officials seem to be only able to ever talk about war. War, war, war. While Russia and most other countries of the world are talking of partnership, development, progress, prosperity and peace. What is it to be for humanity? War or peace?
The problem with official America is that it is still stuck in a centuries-old mindset when it presumed the right – and righteousness – of enslaving millions of people and exterminating native nations from their lands. Today, US states may be taking down the Confederate flag as a symbol of genocidal racism, but elsewhere if we listen to American leaders the same genocidal, supremacist mentality prevails – even when it is articulated by an African-American president.
America has never come to terms with its genocidal origins or its genocidal wars carried out during most of its 250-year history as a nation. The crimes are covered in lies and denials. America has never come to terms with the fact that its capitalist economy dictates hegemony and imperialistic predation for its operation. The attitude towards slaves and exterminated natives of the past is today embodied in Washington’s depiction of the world as lurking with de-humanised enemies who have to be conquered, subjugated and ultimately, if it comes to it, liquidated.  http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article42371.htm

The answer to why the US is always involved in war all over the world can be seen from its July 4, 1776 Sibly horoscope. In the natal chart of a country or organization, the Sun shows the national identity [1]. The US Sun is placed in the 8th house. This is the house of  business especially multinational or transnational corporations [1].

The radix Sun [13cn] is conjunct the stars Sirius [11cn] of Canis Major,  Canopus[12cn] of Argo Navis and Wasat [15cn] of Gemini. The following extracts from Nick Fiorenza and Diana Rosenberg are self-explanatory and summarize America’s national character.

Sirius, due to its head strong and authoritarian nature, can also indicate the need to set things free so they can take their own evolutionary course rather than forcefully manipulating a scenario or the experience of others for some specific outcome based on a sense of righteousness or self-importance—thinking we know what is right for another or that we are responsible to define another's life experience—a miss-placed sense of responsibility. (Sirius is the alpha star of the Greater Dog – an animal we connect with loyalty  – so that  the American demand  “you are either with us or against us” is well explained).

Conjoining Sirius from the southern heavens is Canopus, Alpha Carina of Argo Navis, lying along the galactic plane. Argo Navis classically is the ship in the story of Jason and the Argonauts, a derivation of the older Sumerian story, Gilgamesh and his fifty Sirian warriors. (Can we see a connection here to the US Navy?)

Writing about this area of stars, Diana Rosenberg adds:

Pollux, Zeus’s strong armed son (Note: The Twins were warriors) dominates this space with an inner sense of superiority  and self-worth, a strong need to excel, feel superior to others, and to be in the spotlight (the American  claim to “exceptionalism”! ). Aggressive, dynamic, competitive, commanding, these are people who play “king  of the hill;”one-upmanship, controlling and managing others is their natural inclination, and “win-at-all-costs” their motto. Business, trade, finance, politics, sports, the military (especially the navy) are fields that they are drawn to.

Finally, if we add the asteroids Psyche and Siwa that are conjunct the US Sun we can begin to see the reason behind the American behavior. Psyche is linked to past trauma while Siva is about destruction so trauma associated with past conflicts and destruction still taints the national identity. Pluto now transiting opposite the Sun-Psyche-Siva combination raises the possibility of “emotional breakdown followed by  breakthroughs and new freedom to act apart from the dictates of old pain/ memories / expectations”.
