A crow has been photographed hitching a very rare
mid-flight lift on the back of a bald eagle. The much larger bird of prey was
hunting for a snack in the skies over Seabeck, Washington, when the cheeky crow
spied an opportunity. June 30 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3144167/Crow-takes-brief-rest-bald-eagle-Washington.html
This
surprising incident took place on the eve of the Full Moon. A chart for the
Moon phase at Seabeck, Washington is shown here. Notice that the Full Moon
forms a T-square with the meridian. The MC stars are Gienah, gamma Corvi; Minkar, epsilon Corvi and Alchiba, alpha
Corvi of the Crow. Meanwhile, the Full Moon itself is conjunct stars of Aquila, the Eagle! In astrology when we say that two elements of
a chart are in aspect, as the Moon and MC are here, we mean that they are
meaningfully connected. The surprising thing is that the Full Moon chart has brought the two birds together at
Seabeck!
