A partial collapse of the Big Four Ice Caves,
northeast of Seattle, on Monday evening killed one hiker and seriously injured
three others. Two others had slight injuries, according to multiple reports. KOMO
news radio in Seattle reported a 34-year-old woman died in the Monday collapse
around 5:30 p.m. Two men and one woman were airlifted to a local hospital. June

The chart for
the Last Quarter Moon at Seattle, Washington has the luminaries in a T-square
with Uranus-Pluto on the angles. The TNP
Admetus connects with the T-square
through hard aspects to the Ascendant and Pluto. Among other things,
Uranus-Pluto is about sudden ruptures and collapses [1][2] while Admetus
is linked to ice so that it is not surprising that the cave collapsed
under the tension released by the Moon phase.
A key
sentence for Admetus-Pluto provided by Martha Wescott explains the event
clearly:
Admetus-Pluto:
To see things reach critical mass – in other words, although one has been able
to stand up under increasing pressure, the burden finally becomes too great and
there must be some release or relief.
An event
chart drawn for the collapse (July 6; 5:30 pm) has the descendant conjunct
Admetus triggering the Admetus-Pluto configuration.
