The son of the woman considered to be the greatest
free diver ever says his mother is missing after diving in the Balearic Sea on
Sunday (Aug. 2). Natalia Molchanova, 53, was diving with three others off Ibiza
on Sunday when she did not surface after a dive without fins to about 115 feet
off the coast of an island near Ibiza, Alexey Molchanov and the free-diving
federation told the New York Times. A search continues for Molchanova, a

The
unfortunate incident has occurred just two days before the Full Moon. A chart
for the Moon phase at Ibiza has a Grand Cross straddling the angles. For Mars
in aspect to Uranus-Pluto, Ebertin gives “injury or accident”. Mars is also in
hard aspect to Neptune in the 5th house. This is a house connected
with recreation and sports. With Neptune here we are looking at water related
sports like diving. And with Michel Gauquelin’s research [1] linking Mars to
sports champions, it is not too difficult to connect the chart to Natalia
Molchanova, the greatest free diver. Uranus [20ar] in the Cross is conjunct the
star Baten Kaitos. Zeta
(ζ) Cetus, Baten Kaitos, is a topaz
yellow star in the belly of the Whale or Sea Monster (ocean depths?) [2].
Mars
[24cn] on the MC is conjunct the star Procyon [26cn]. Elsbeth Ebertin warns
that Mars configured with Procyon is especially dangerous and natives must take care not to be imprudent
in order to avoid a fiasco [3]. Stars of the Cancer Crab also start here and presumably because Crabs live
on the land as well as the sea, Diana Rosenberg hints at “shoreline disasters”.
Natalia
Molchanova (born 8 May 1962) currently had her progressed solar arc Sun [8cn]
trine natal Jupiter [8pi]. Transit Neptune [9pi] was conjunct her Jupiter with
both in hard aspect to transit Mars [24cn]. In his “The Combination of Stellar Influences”, Reinhold Ebertin gives the
following keyphrases for the combination:
Jupiter-Neptune-Mars:
