Was prehistoric man responsible for first ever war crime?

Prehistoric man may have been responsible for the first ever war crime, after German archaeologists found a mass grave with evidence that the victims had been tortured and slain. Researchers at the University of Mainz have been studying the remains of 26 people who were found dumped in a pit dating from the early Neolithic, around 4000BC. Although mass graves have been found before from the stone age, it is the first time that skeletons have shown evidence of needless violence. Most of the skull bones revealed that the victims had been hit over the head with a blunt instrument, while arrow heads nearby suggest they could have been killed by bowmen. But for the first time there was evidence of deliberate and systematic smashing of the lower leg bones of a number of individuals suggesting that the victims were either tortured before or mutilated after death. The grave was discovered at Schöneck-Kilianstädten, Darmstadt, in 2006, and archaeologist have been excavating the site and studying the bones ever since. August 17 http://goo.gl/DKTo5K

The current New Moon took place amidst the stars of the Lion. Lest we forget, George Noonan reminds us that the Lion is a cruel creature.

These star in the Lion's head; ε Leo, Ras Elased Australis (Algenubi), and μ Ras Elased Borealis; are said to indicate ….. those who may be heartless and cruel. [Fixed Stars and Judicial Astrology, George Noonan, 1990, p.32.]

The New Moon is placed in the 8th house linked with “death” [1] in  a trine aspect to Uranus in the 4th house that is associated with the roots of our existence and our distant past [2]. Uranus is square Pluto, a combination that is linked to new understanding or scientific breakthroughs.

Pluto [13cp]  is square the meridian and conjunct stars of the Archer about which Diana Rosenberg writes:

Stars of the Archer’s brow  and bowstring drawing right hand are here: these supervisors of the Archer’s aim are aggressive and domineering  souls, fiercely focused in pursuit of goals and coldly, brutally persistent in pursuit of their enemies…. Kidnapping and assassination have been recorded under these stars.

The New Moon conjunct Venus squares Saturn [28sc]. Delta Lupi [28sc], eta and beta Herculis [29sc, 1sa] and  alpha Centaurus, Toliman [29sc] are some of the stars that form the backdrop to Saturn.  Hercules is the strong man who carries a club with which he decimates his opponents. Alpha (α) Centaurus, Toliman, is a binary, white and yellowish star above the right front hoof (leg?) of the Centaur. As shown above, the Centaur is often imaged carrying Lupus (“beast of death”) – a sacrificial animal impaled on his spear. The half man, half horse  Centaur represents the danger of domination by the animal instincts which in our case here can be linked to ancient man’s desire to annihilate his enemies.

We have enough elements now to reconstruct  the news. A story about  death (8th house)  in prehistoric  times (4th house) resulting from heartless cruelty (Lion and Centaur).  Victims (Lupus) were either clubbed (Hercules) on the  head (Algenubi) or killed with arrows  (Archer’s bow and arrow).  Smashing of  victims’ leg bones (asteroid Hephaistos [3] is on the descendant and star Toliman conjoins Saturn) also  suggest torture and mutilation.
