Scuffles and arguing broke out in Japan's
parliament building, as wrangling continued over the country's security bill. The
bill would change Japan's pacifist constitution to allow its troops to be
involved in conflicts overseas for the first time since World War Two. Opposition
lawmakers in the upper house have been trying to stop debate on the bill going

The
Constitution of Japan came into effect at 00.00hrs on 3 May 1947 in Tokyo [1].
Article 9 of the Constitution reads. “Aspiring
sincerely to an international peace based on justice and order, the Japanese
people forever renounce war as a sovereign right of the nation and the threat
or use of force as means of settling international disputes”.
We shall see
here that a horoscope of Japan based on
the time the Constitution came into effect
speaks of this desire of the Japanese people. Let us begin by looking at the Moon-Neptune
opposite Venus-Mars axis. Currently the progressed Sun [16cn] from the 6th house is square Mars
[15ar] triggering the combination. Moon and Neptune are amidst the stars of the
Virgin and Bootes. Bootes was an armed herdsman, sometimes depicted with a

so that sometimes the potential for aggression and desire for domination
overwhelms the Virgin’s love of peace.
Many here are drawn to the exciting prospect of military glory,
authority and service; but the mature amongst them hear the Virgin’s call and
combined with the overlay of Libra, become peacemakers.
However, the
progressed Sun is now square Mars (in Aries…war), the separating edge of the
combination, from the 6th house linked to the armed forces, implying
that the desire to return to the military glory of the past is rearing its
head. With transit Pluto also square
