Australian boxer dies and PM loses post at Solar Eclipse

An Australian boxer has died four days after being knocked unconscious during a regional title fight in Sydney. Davey Browne Jr, 28, was knocked out by Carlo Magali of the Philippines towards the end of a 12-round IBF super-featherweight contest on Friday. Father-of-two Browne's life support was turned off after he failed to recover from his injuries. Sept. 15 http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/boxing/34254991

A tendency to abstraction, honing the ability to see through the appearances and understand what those appearances point to, while at the same time recognizing how those principles manifest concretely  in the world, is what characterizes modern astrology.  In this post we shall see that  the death of the boxer Davey Browne and the ousting of Tony Abbott from the PM’s post point to a simple message contained in the solar eclipse of Sept.13.

Shown here is the chart for the solar eclipse at Sydney (not very different for Canberra). Saturn is on the MC square Neptune and Jupiter on the horizon.  An afflicted Saturn in the 10th is “unfortunate for the monarch (PM here), unpopularity, lack of support, danger of defeat for the Government, discord and misfortune in political and national affairs” [1] .  This would appear to describe  the ousting of Tony Abbott. We then go on to note that the MC is conjunct the star 29 Herculis in Hercules’ club and the asteroids Toro and Lacrimosa.  Martha Wescott gives us the following keywords for the asteroids.

TORO: Machismo; bullying; intimidation; doing hard, physical work; strength (muscular); muscle flexing—psychologically or physically; challenging others; rough treatment; competitive; football; prizefighting; toughness.

ORPHEUS or LACRIMOSA: Sad, sweet or haunting music, lyrics or poetry; dirges; sense of mourning and loss; grief (for what you don't have—what has gone out of your life; what “might have been” or what was); contact with death.

Putting the keywords together we can see the possibility of the death of a boxer or  grief and loss  for someone who was behaving like a “boxer”. Abbott was a student boxer, earning two Blues for boxing while at Oxford. According to the Sun-Herald newspaper his tactics in student politics were like "an aggressive terrier" [2].

So in essence the message of the eclipse in Australia is that there is a need to end bullying and strong arm tactics or face the consequences.
