The US policy front in Syria is crumbling: Austria
and Spain are calling for the inclusion of President Assad and Russia in
negotiations, whereas the goal of the US from the beginning has been to
overthrow Assad. In view of the refugee crisis demands are increasing in Europe
to accept Syrian President Bashar al-Assad as a partner in the struggle against
Islamic State (IS). A common approach is a priority, said Foreign Minister of
Austria Sebastian Kurz on Tuesday in Tehran. “It will not succeed without
powers like Iran and Russia, and as such it needs pragmatic solidarity and also
the involvement of Assad in the fight against IS-terrorism.” On Monday, Spanish
Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Garcia Margallo called on negotiations with Assad
to end the war. After the outbreak of the Syrian civil war of 2011, all Western
states were initially agreed that there could be a future for the country only

The chart for
the upcoming solar eclipse drawn for Brussels will help answer the cosmic reasons behind the news. The eclipse is placed
in the 12th house considered unfortunate, bringing drawback to the ruling elite [1]. The
eclipse [20vi] is at the beginning of sidereal Virgo. Here the distinct
influence of the peace loving Virgin begins to overshadow the “monstrous” and “war
loving” Lion. The following extracts from Manilius and Aratus explain the
nature of the “departing” Lion and the “rising” Virgo very elegantly.

monstrous Lion, and the pursuits he prescribes for those born beneath his sign?

It is,
therefore, not difficult to see why Diana Rosenberg links this area with “peace
efforts and peace treaties”.
Finally, the
planetary combination highlighted in the angles of the chart complete the
picture. Here we a have a T-square involving Mercury-Zeus-Uranus-Pluto. On its
own Mercury-Uranus-Pluto would be the collapse or end of an old way of
thinking.
Uranus-Pluto: unexpected reactions based on
resentments; power struggles between friends or in a group; to see individuals
disconnect themselves from others as a form of control over events.
If we add the
influence of TNP Zeus (war) which is part of the T-square with Uranus-Pluto, we
can see why individual members of the EU want to reconsider their position on
the war in Syria.
