Europe migrant crisis

The 2015 European migrant crisis or European refugee crisis arose through the rising number of refugees and economic migrants, from areas such as the Middle East (Syria, Iraq, Palestine), coming to the European Union across the Mediterranean Sea and applying for asylum. According to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees as of the end of August 2015, 70% of the refugees come from Syria, Afghanistan and Eritrea. The phrase "migrant crisis" rose to popular use in April 2015, when five boats carrying almost two thousand migrants to Europe sank in the Mediterranean Sea, with a combined death toll estimated at more than 1,200 people. The shipwrecks took place in a context of ongoing conflicts in several North African and Middle Eastern countries as well as the refusal by several European Union governments to fund the Italian-run rescue option Operation Mare Nostrum.
"That the refugee crisis is an outcome of US-European policies is clear to the naked eye," says senior research fellow Boris Dolgov, of the Oriental Studies Institute under the Russian Academy of Sciences. "The destruction of Iraq, the destruction of Libya and attempts to topple Bashar Assad in Syria with the hands of Islamic radicals — that’s what EU and US policies are all about, and the hundreds of refugees are a result of that policy," he told TASS. "These people are exhausted, angry and humiliated. They have no idea of European values, lifestyles and traditions, multi-culturalism or tolerance. They will never agree to abide by European laws," says Russian author, playwright and stage director Yevgeny Grishkovets in his blog. "They will never feel grateful to the people whose countries they have managed to get into with such problems, because the very same states first turned their own home countries into a bloodbath." http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article42811.htm

In mundane astrology, the chart of a nation (or a group of nations like the EU here) is held to be of primary importance for understanding significant  events.  The EU began in 1993 (that was when it changed its name as a result of the Maastricht Treaty). A chart for the EU (1 Nov. 1993; 0:00 CET,Brussels) as given by Barry Goddard [1] is shown here.  Notice that the solar arc progressed MC (23ta43) now conjoins radix Moon (24ta19) triggering the associated T-square with Mars-Pluto-Saturn.  Ebertin provides the following key phrase:

Mars-Saturn-Pluto: Brutality, ruthlessness, assault. The necessity to fight for one’s existence or life; maltreatment.

Let us start by looking at the stars that form the backdrop to the planets in the T-square.
The Moon [24ta] is conjunct the stars Botein of Aries; Rana and Zaurak of Eridanus on the cusp of sidereal Tauras.

Botein can indicate those either lost and stranded, or simply left behind (the lost or following sheep), and thus can create a sense of frustration; Rana of Eridanus, conjoining Botein, marks another stopping point along the river of life and articulates the theme of those lost or tired through their initiations stopping either in need of aid or for regeneration in preparation for what is yet to come.Zaurak marks a point of pause along the River of Life. Here we must trust our inner heart light and intuition, regain our strength, and follow through despite the path may not be entirely visible, even tumultuous [2].

Mars and Pluto [24sc] are conjunct the star Agena, beta Centauri on the cusp of sidereal Scorpio.

The mythical image here is of the Centaur placing the “wild beast” Lupus, which he holds firmly clutched in his right hand, on the Centaur’s altar to be sacrificed. The meaning is that a sacrifice and offering of the beast within must be a conscious and deliberate action and requires one to energetically take hold with determination and conviction because our lesser patterns of behavior will not go to the altar of transmutation willingly. In fact the first few degrees of early sidereal Scorpio can express as avoidance, of contortions and squirming to get out of having to surrender lower self and to address, own up, and take responsibility for our life experience [3].

And finally the stars conjunct Saturn [23aq38] at the apex of the T-square offer the way out. This area is the cusp of sidereal Aquarius, the humanitarian Water Pourer. The Water flowing from his Urn offers relief to all who suffer irrespective of their caste, creed or religion.

Notice that the solar arc direction of MC to the T-square was triggered by transit Jupiter [24le]  in July. News reports indicate that what was a trickle in April became a flood of migrants from roughly June-July onwards suggesting that the events have unfolded exactly as per the astrology. Lost and desperate migrants in need of aid (Botein,Rana) reached the shores of Europe which struggled to overcome its “lesser patterns of behavior” but which must finally realize that these are their own brothers and on the basis of this realization offer the help that is required.
