Fortis Co-Founder Shivinder Singh To Step Down To Do 'Seva'

NEW DELHI -- Co-founder of Fortis Healthcare Shivinder Mohan Singh has decided to step down from his role as Executive Vice-Chairman of the multi-crore enterprise he owns with his older brother Malvinder Mohan Singh. The 40-year-old is giving it up to do 'seva' (service) at philosophical and spiritual organisation Radha Soami Satsang Beas headquartered near Amritsar. "Having spent almost two decades setting up and running Fortis, our mission of saving and enriching lives is an integral part of my being," he said in a statement released on Wednesday. "Over time this has inspired me to do more direct service and give back to society a little of what I have received in abundance." Sept 23 http://goo.gl/Cu4799

A hardcore businessman suddenly leaves his business to do  'seva' (service) at a philosophical and spiritual organization. What is happening? Is there a cosmic indication? Well yes, a chart for the current solar eclipse drawn for Delhi answers the question. Notice that the eclipse highlights the Jupiter-Neptune opposition which it places square the horizon.

Jupiter-Neptune combination is known for compassion and a desire to serve humankind.   Eric Meyers in his essay Jupiter–Neptune: The Spiritual Landscape [1] writes:

Jupiter–Neptune may manifest as an impulse to spread (Jupiter) compassion (Neptune) — to display a great big (Jupiter) heart (Neptune). The great big heart is seen with Ammachi (Jupiter trine Neptune), the “hugging saint.” She is known to be indefatigable in reaching out to others – hugging up to 50,000 in day and sitting with her followers for extended hours. Her humanitarian efforts have assisted thousands in securing housing, food and health care. Mother Teresa (square) is another altruistic figure with this combination. In addition to her legendary humanitarian accomplishments, she also grappled with how to conceive of the divine (Jupiter) in light of worldwide suffering (Neptune). Pope John Paul II (conjunction) was known for his compassionate outreach to all, a sweetness in which many found redemption.

In addition the eclipse[20vi13] is conjunct the MC and the Vulkanus/Poseidon midpoint [20vi10]

Vulkanus-Poseidon:  to be aware of the power of spirit – and to feel it as though it were tangible; to see that a religion, persuasion, revelation or ideology can become a compulsion or a coercive force – that people can feel unable to resist; they have have-to’s imposed by spirit or beliefs [2].
