At least 82 people have been killed in a powerful
explosion that tore through a restaurant in Petlawad in the Indian state of
Madhya Pradesh, officials say. It was packed with workers and schoolchildren
eating breakfast. The exact cause of the blast is unclear. Police first said a
cooking gas cylinder exploded, and later added that explosives being stored
nearby may also have caught fire.Rescue efforts are continuing and nearby
buildings have been evacuated. At least 35 people are in hospital with
injuries, officials say. Sept. 12; http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-india-34231885
The
accident has occurred on the eve of the solar eclipse of Sept. 13. The period surrounding an eclipse is always
one of danger and accidents. A chart for
the eclipse [20vi] at Petlawad has it placed on the MC [16vi]. The MC is
conjunct the star Mizar. Zeta (ΞΆ) Ursa Major, Mizar, is a double star, possibly
binary, brilliant white and pale emerald on the Tail of the Great Bear. The
following extract and several past
references [1][2][3] illustrate the nature of this fiery star.
Supposedly, Mizar portends a Mars nature.
The reputation of Mizar, if it is in maximal position in a mundane map, is that
of being connected with fires of a catastrophic extent and mass calamities.

Finally we
note that the eclipse [20vi] is conjunct
stars in the Chinese asterism Tchang
which presided over the Imperial Kitchen. How strange that the blast should have occurred
in a restaurant!
