Mercury retrograde takes Skype service offline

Mercury – God of travel & communication

A problem with Skype's status system has meant many people are currently unable to use the service. Reports about Skype being unavailable started at about 09:00 BST on Monday morning in the UK. In a statement, Skype-owner Microsoft said it had "detected an issue with the status settings" on Skype that show if someone is online or not. The problem locked many people's status as offline - stopping them making calls even though they were connected.  Sept. 21 http://www.bbc.com/news/technology-34312694

In astrology, Mercury rules communication, travel, and technology—so all of these areas go haywire for about three weeks during Mercury retrograde [1]. Skype Technologies  is a Microsoft-owned telecommunications company headquartered in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg.  Shown here is a chart for the Mercury station retrograde that took place on September 17 drawn for Luxembourg.  Notice that  it forms a T-square with Uranus-Pluto and is angular in the chart implying that it is significant for the place.

If we progress this chart to September 21, notice that Uranus touches the Ascendant triggering the  T-square resulting in the issue that Skype is facing.

Finally, a look at chart for 09:00 BST on Monday morning, when Skype was first reported unavailable in London has the culprit Mercury retrograde on the Ascendant!
