New York (CNN)It's a watershed moment that has won
support on many fronts, but drawn condemnation from Israel and the United
States. The Palestinian flag was raised outside the headquarters of the United
Nations in New York for the first time Wednesday. Under cloudy skies, the
politically sensitive flag raising ceremony took place at 1:16 p.m. at the
U.N.'s Rose Garden. The historic moment came after Palestinian leader Mahmoud
Abbas told the U.N. General Assembly that the Palestinian Authority was no
longer bound by the Oslo Peace Accords. At the ceremony, U.N. Secretary-General
Ban Ki-moon called the occasion a "day of pride for the Palestinian people
around the world" and a "day of hope.""Now is the time to
restore confidence by both Israelis and Palestinians for a peaceful settlement
and, at last, the realization of two states for two peoples," he said.Sept.

On
September 30, the Sun conjoined Mercury in what is referred to a Mercury synod marking the midpoint of its
retrograde cycle. The Sun-Mercury
conjunction took place at 7 li
7'6". The actual Mercury synod is seen looking from the Sun toward the
Mercury-Earth conjunction. Algenib of
Pegasus is the principle star that defines the synod . The

Andromeda (Palestine) being raised above
the jaws of the devouring Sea Monster Cetus (Israel-US) says it all.
Finally a
chart for the Palestinian flag raising at the UN confirms the foregoing. Notice that the Sun at the MC forms a
T-square with Uranus-Pluto. The following extract about the Uranus-Pluto
square from Bill Herbst describes the
energies working behind the scene very accurately:
The alignment indicates a
breakdown in our largest institutions (Capricorn) (or we may add a breakthrough…as is the case
here) that starts from within the
institutions themselves as an egregious overplaying of their power in ways that
are clearly self-serving rather than for the greater good (Pluto), which is
then furthered by an unexpected rebellion (Uranus) against institutional malfeasance,
a seemingly spontaneous insurrection that occurs from the ground level up,
fomented by individuals (Aries) who stand up in protest against the oppressive
influence of such institutions. Actually, these insurrections aren’t
spontaneous; they’ve been brewing invisibly under the surface, slowly heating
up as discontent with the status quo grows. Such rebellions manifest as potent
and disruptive forces in the collective, however, only after critical mass is
reached at the boiling point, so that they appear to arise full-blown and
without precedent, as if out of nowhere.
