Planetary
Synodic Cycles are cycles that occur between one planet and another. They start
when two planets align in their orbits, when looking from the Sun. The
Earth-planet star alignments (looking
from the sun / heliocentric view) reveal the nature of the specific synodic
cycle theme. That theme will unfold until the two planets align again, marking
the completion of the synodic cycle and the beginning of the next one.
In his blogpost on the current eclipse lunar cycle “Winds
of Change & New Beginnings” Nick
Fiorenza writing about the upcoming
Uranus Synodic cycle said:
The Sun, Earth and Uranus align on October
11 (Oct 12 UT). Conjoining stars include Revati (Zeta) and Epsilon of Pisces;
Sigma, Lambda and Psi of Andromeda (stars on Andomeda's outstretch arm and
hand); and Tau and Epsilon of Cetus. Revati, Zeta Pisces, meaning riches, is of
money, wealth, and financial resources. Prominent alignments with Revati can
indicate material wealth gained from participating in the dramatic
psycho-emotional world of human affairs. This zodiakal longitude is a couple of
degrees to that of Baten Kaitos, the belly of ole Cetus, where the
transformative process occurs while in the whale of human emotional experience.
Venus is exalted at this zodiacal longitude, bringing attention to the relation
of the flow of abundance, emotional clarity, receptivity to life, and living
from the clarity and truth of the heart. North of and conjoining Revati and
Baten Kaitos are the stars forming the outstretched arms of the entrapped
Princess Andromeda. Andromeda’s northern arm is lashed high over her head upon
the crag, with her hand (Lamda, Psi, Kappa and Iota) pulled back toward Lacerta
(Omi), primordial and psychic forces. Her southern arm is lashed southward
toward the riches of the mortal world (Revati) and also toward Cetus, the
techno-bureaucratic monster of collective human consciousness. Andromeda is
stretched in turmoil in this natural sepulchre carved into the rocky cliff,
caught in forces not of her own making, an environment and genetic lineage she
was born into.
This annual Uranus synodic cycle may bring
unexpected radical change in the world of economics that breaks us from the
conformity of the past. This does not necessarily mean devastating or
catastrophic change, although it may be or at least seem so in the process.
This cycle also inspires us to make radical changes in our personal finances,
of a progressive nature. Uranus is also approaching its conjunction and
compounded synod with Eris (2016-2017), which may also accelerate tremendous
evolutionary change, although I think it will be more about a major
"disclosure," which will be a part of heralding a progressive new
world paradigm. We shall see.
Here is the
chart for the Sun-Uranus opposition, i.e. the beginning of the synodic cycle, drawn for Washington DC. Notice that the Sun-Uranus opposition makes a
Grand Cross with the horizon axis suggesting that the above extracts are
relevant for the US.
