The
case has stunned keepers at a Russian safari park where normally big cats don't
think twice about eating the live prey placed helplessly in their enclosures.
But this goat showed no inkling of fear, eyeballed the tiger, and took over his
shelter. Pictures show the obedient big cat reduced to resting on the roof of
the shelter while the goat languishes inside on the tiger's bed. 'Our tigers get live prey twice every week,'
said a keeper. 'Tiger Amur knows very well how to hunt goats and rabbits. But
recently he came across a goat that he refused to hunt.' Nov.26
This news item
serve as an excellent example of how cosmic energies can reflect in events
connected with animals. A chart for the
Full Moon of November 26 drawn for Shkotovo, the location of the safari park,
is shown here. Notice that the Full Moon
aligns with the horizon axis and forms a T-square with Saturn-Neptune. Here the
Ascendant, Sun and Saturn are conjunct stars of the Wild Beast Lupus and the
Centaur. About this area, Nick Fiorenza writes:
In the mythical image, the Centaur is firmly
clutching Lupus the beast, or is shown in mythical images of the 1700-1800s
(Uranographia of Johann Bode; et. al.) as holding impaled Lupus upon a long
spear. Either way, the Centaur is bringing Lupus with conscious deliberation to
Ara, the sacrificial Altar of the Centaur, to be consumed in the Centaur's
pyre. This articulates the slaying or sacrificing of lower-self personality
desires / egoic self and related patterns of behavior.
Neptune is also in a sense a planet of sacrifice. In Pisces, it supports non-violence and urges us to rise above our primitive physical
desires. Moreover, with a quincunx aspect to Mars, it is specifically pointing to the need to overcome aggressive instincts.
On the MC
with Jupiter is the star beta (β) Leo, Denebola, in the constellation of the
Lion. With the Full Moon on the horizon highlighting the Saturn-Neptune square,
isn’t amazing that we are shown an example of a predatory animal overcoming his
urge to kill the goat.
