Ingresses of the Sun are among the important mundane events that astrologers
keep a track of. Shown here is the chart drawn for the Sun’s entry into
sidereal Libra at Caratagena, Colombia close to where treasure was
discovered. Notice a T-square between
Venus-Saturn-Neptune is highlighted with the Ascendant in harmonious aspect to
the Venus-Neptune opposition.
Venus is not
only placed in the 9th house that is linked to ships but conjunct
the stars of Velorum in the celestial ship Argo’s sail and the star Thuban,
alpha Draco. In mythology, Draco, the dragon, is often shown guarding a treasure (see image). So
what do we have? A treasure loaded ship!
Neptune [7pi]
is conjunct the star Sadalachbia [7pi].
Gamma (γ) Aquarius, Sadalachbia, is a 4th magnitude greenish star in the right
arm of the Water Bearer. Sadachbia, from Al Sa'd al Ahbiyah (now called
Sadalachbia) has been interpreted as
"The Lucky Star of Hidden Things". Dr. Eric Morse states that in
horary it indicates the ability to discover that which is hidden or lost [1].
But how can
we be sure that the Libra ingress chart is really linked to the treasure find
reported on December 6. All we need to do is progress the chart to check if
this combination is triggered by any of the progressed angles. And sure enough
we find that the progressed MC conjoins
apex Saturn bringing the T-square to life.
But as we
have seen before most often there is more than one celestial indicator for a major event. A chart for the
current Full Moon has it placed significantly on the horizon forming a T-square
with Saturn-Neptune. The Moon [3ge] is conjunct the star 50 Cassiopeia and is in an area that
was part of China’s Celestial Ship. In
his book Astronomica, the Roman
astrologer Manilius points out the connection of this constellation with gold.
"From Cassiope come the enhancement of
beauty and devices for adorning the body: from gold has been sought the means
to give grace to the appearance; precious stones have been spread over head,
neck, and hands and golden chains have shone on snow-white feet. What products
would a grand lady like Cassiope prefer her sons to handle rather than those
she could turn to her own employments? And that material for such employment
should not be lacking, she bids men look for gold beneath the ground, uproot
all which nature stealthily conceals, and turn earth upside down in search of
gain; she bids them detect the treasure in lumps of ore and finally, for all
its reluctance, expose it to a sky it has never seen. The son of Cassiope will
also count greedily the yellow sands, and drench a dripping beach with a new
flood… Such are the inclinations which Cassiope will fashion in those born
under her" [Manilius, Astronomica, book 5, 1st century AD, p.343.]
