What to expect from the upcoming “Moon Wobble”?

Russian President Vladimir Putin has used crude language in a furious new attack on Turkey over the shooting down of a Russian combat jet last month. "The Turks", he said, had "decided to lick the Americans in a certain place". He was giving his wide-ranging annual news conference. Touching on next year's US presidential election, the Russian leader called Donald Trump a "very colourful, talented person" and the "absolute frontrunner in the presidential race". The Dec. 18 quarter Moon straddles the Nodal axis.  This is a phenomena known as “Moon Wobble”.

Moon Wobbles were discovered in the 1930's, when research by astrologer Carl Payne Tobey (1902-1980), the original editor of Astrology Magazine, revealed that disasters occur in cycles associated with the conjunction (0°), opposition (180°) and square (90°) from the Sun to the Moon's Node. These powerful contacts occur when the Sun and the Node are in the same sign, or the opposing sign, or when the Sun is in a square aspect to the nodal axis.

During Moon Wobble the instability factor is high, resulting in more accidents, fires, plane crashes, freak accidents, floods, feats of nature, bizarre weather patterns, earthquakes, tornadoes, violence, Terrorism, riots, and political and personal upheavals. These Cycles bring suppressed energies in people and Mother Nature to the surface, erupting and disrupting.

Shown here is a chart for the Quarter Moon at Moscow where the Moon and the  nodes are placed on the meridian axis.  We can, therefore, expect this to be one place where the Moon Wobble energies are likely to be felt.  It turns out that the transit Sun conjoins  Russian President Putin’s natal Mars [26sa] and the asteroid Salacia. His Mars is also conjunct the star Aculeus, in the sting of the Scorpion. About this area Diana Rosenberg writes: “The Scorpion’s sting tends to sullen anger; while most are dedicated, never-say-die fighters, refusing to give in or knuckle under even against great odds, others, too easily embittered, may give up or lash out , raging against the blows of fate”.  And as mentioned above Moon Wobbles bring suppressed energies to the surface so that aggressive Mars combined with the asteroid Salacia  (name derived from salacious - obscene, indecent, improper,  crude, lewd) brought out Putin’s comment!
