Eclipse brings big changes in Myanmar

Myanmar's new president has been sworn in, the first elected civilian leader in more than 50 years. Htin Kyaw from the National League for Democracy (NLD) takes over from Thein Sein, who introduced wide-ranging reforms during his five years in power. Although NLD leader Aung San Suu Kyi is barred from the presidency, she has said she will rule by proxy. The handover completes the transition that began after the NLD won a landslide win in elections in November. March 30 http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-35923083

In the shadow of the powerful March 9 solar eclipse, changes are now perceptible in many places.  The eclipse was conjunct the star Achernar, alpha Eridanus and Ankaa, alpha Phoenix.

Aratus called Eridanus, “The River of Many Tears” and Diana Rosenberg links it to “history and paradigm altering events”. “Here the Phoenix-Firebird rises from its ashes renewed, Eridanus’ great River of Time and the flow of water from Aquarius’ Urn sweep away all past errors and regrets, while high flying Pegasus soars to heights of inspiration”.  The eclipse chart for Naypyidaw, Myanmar’s capital has it sextile Pluto on the MC and opposite  Jupiter i.e. activating the Jupiter-Pluto trine, the Uranus-Pluto and the Jupiter-Saturn squares.  The Jupiter-Pluto trine is an obvious reference to social/ political(Jupiter) regeneration (Pluto).

In its positive manifestation, the current Uranus-Pluto square is creating  important breakthroughs in politics. Let us recall that the French Revolution took place under a Uranus-Pluto opposition. That was violent. Here we notice a much more peaceful transition of power from the military to the people  possibly because Uranus is trine Saturn. The actions of a few courageous people (Uranus in Aries) bringing about a change in the government (Pluto in Capricorn).

About the Jupiter-Saturn square, Nick Fiorenza writes:
Jupiter-Saturn cycles, created by the two most massive planets in our solar system, are one of the most powerful and influential in our solar system dynamics. This last quarter Jupiter-Saturn square, occurring now, impels movement and expansion away from societal models, sociopolitical structures, and constructs in our personal lives that have now become limiting and restricting to new growth, an energetic set in motion throughout 2016, one that will continue throughout the last quarter of this 20-year cycle, into 2020.

Finally, on the IC is the star  Castor, alpha Geminorum. Alpha and beta Gemini were determinants of the Indian lunar mansion, Punarvasu “ Return of the Light ” or the return of good times.
