Maria Sharapova fails drugs test

Sponsors have moved quickly to distance themselves from Maria Sharapova after the five-time Grand Slam tennis champion admitted failing a drug test. Nike has suspended its relationship, while Tag Heuer has cut its ties. Nike said it was "saddened and surprised" at her admission that she tested positive for a banned substance at the Australian Open in January. Ms Sharapova said she had been taking meldonium since 2006, on the advice of her family doctor. She is one of the highest paid female athletes with earnings of over $30m last year from winnings and endorsements. In addition to the moves from Nike and Swiss watchmaker Tag Heuer, German carmaker Porsche said it was "postponing planned activities" with Ms Sharapova until the situation became clearer. http://www.bbc.com/news/business-35751916

A chart for the solar eclipse of March 8 drawn for Los Angeles where Saharpova gave her press conference will help explain the event. Notice that the eclipse along with its accompany Jupiter-Neptune-Saturn T-square is placed significantly on the angles. Ebertin interprets the combination as below:

Jupiter-Neptune-Saturn:  the feeling of being abandoned by one’s luck; the experiencing of consequences issuing from plans which come to nothin; disappointments, losses.

Here Saturn[16sa] is conjunct the asteroid Aesculapia [16sa] and the star alpha (α) Hercules, Ras Algethi [16sa].  Aesculapia is connected to physicians and by association drugs and medicines. A Latin epithet for Hercules was saltator, “leaper” and was associated with dancers, acrobats and sports champions. Diana Rosenberg points out that some “lacking moderation, may go for broke risking health and reputation in their headlong passion to win”.
