BEIJING
— China has unveiled a proposal for a $50 trillion global electricity network
that would help fight pollution and the effects of climate change. The plan
envisions linking existing and future solar farms, wind turbines and
electricity plants in Asia, Europe, Africa and the Americas, according to the
head of State Grid Corporation of China. The proposal is in its initial stages
and would require huge investment from around the world. If it goes ahead, it
would be the world's largest infrastructure project. It could be operational by
2050, according to backers. March 31 http://javed22.blogspot.in/2016/04/tesla-unveils-electric-car.html
The ambitious
plan to link electricity generating plants the world over comes just after the
Sun’s entry into Aries. A chart for the Aries ingress at Beijing is shown here.
Notice that the Uranus-Pluto square straddles the horizon. About Uranus-Pluto
Richard Tarnas notes :
With Pluto acting
on Uranus, we can see what could be called the intensification on a massive
scale (Pluto) of technology (Uranus) or the empowerment (Pluto) of
revolutionary breakthroughs (Uranus) and awakenings.
Uranus, of
course, is also directly connected with electricity. And here on the Ascendant are
the stars Castor and Wasat of Gemini that are associated with “joining”or “linking”.
About these stars Nick Fiorenza writes:
Castor is the
liaison in the world of daily human affairs, and is of partnerships and
cooperation. Castor brings resources and people together that serve to get
logistics accomplished in the world of business and commerce. Conjoining Castor
is Wasat of Gemini. Wasat, the umbilical cord, embodies the essence of sidereal
Gemini. Wasat is the link and liaison that unites and acts as a catalyst.
Wasat brings the logistical pieces together. Wasat is of planning,
coordination, assemblage of diversity into a workable functional model; the
mechanics of creating the means in physical logistics.
Given these
elements of the Aries ingress chart, China’s grand project is rightly about the
linking of the electrical power plants the world over.
