Dung clue to Hannibal's Alpine crossing

Scientists may be closer to revealing the route taken by Hannibal as he crossed the Alps to attack ancient Rome.A team says they have found a churned up layer of soil at an Alpine pass near the French-Italian border that dates to the time of Hannibal's invasion. In Archaeometry journal, they say the disturbed sediment was rich in microbes that are common in horse manure. Hannibal's third century BC campaign is seen as one of the greatest military endeavours in antiquity. He was commander-in-chief of the Carthaginian army during its second war with Rome (218-201 BC). Carthage was located in present-day Tunisia and was Rome's main military rival at the time. April 5 http://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-35969107

Presented here is the lunar eclipse chart drawn for Oxford, UK from where the Archaeometry journal is published. The lunar eclipse of March 23 continues to surprise us with its influence on a host of recent events. A connection between these  events cannot be understood unless we recognize that astrology is symbolic and that symbols can work in several ways. In a recent post [1] we spoke about  the combination Hades-Kronos as leaders involved in ‘dirty business’ or corruption in high places. Here the same combination will give us “dung on a mountain”. But Kronos is also an authority figure and Hades is “things from the distant past” so that combination can be referring to Hannibal – a  great general from the past.

The Transeptunian Points (TNPs)
KRONOS :     Superiority: the highest quality attainable; the ultimate in authority; standard of excellence; undisputed expert. However, Kronos can also indicate tall structures, mountains, the   height reached by airplanes - generally, highly situated places.
HADES  Decomposition, defect, disintegration, garbage, dung; things from the distant past

Let us remember that every detail of a mundane chart is significant. Here the TNPs Hades-Kronos are placed in the 12th house. Among the various things ruled by the 12th house we have:

It rules great cattle, such as horses, oxen, elephants, of which Ezra notes "Those which serve as a mount for men". http://www.skyscript.co.uk/temples/h12.html

So we have horse and elephant dung on the Alps!

Coin of Antiochus VII with Dioskouri – the Warrior horsemen

Finally, we note that Hades [3cn] is conjunct the star Tejat, eta Geminorum of the Gemini Twins. In Greek and Roman mythology, Castor and Pollux or Polydeuces were twin brothers, together known as the Dioskouri. Castor and Pollux are warriors and are consistently associated with horses in art and literature. They are widely depicted as helmeted horsemen carrying spears[2]. How strange that the star involved adds another detail – a warrior’s horse is involved!
