El Chichon eruption implicated in Mayan upheaval

Scientists think they can now tie the disruption that hit Mayan civilisation in the 6th Century to an eruption of the El Chichon volcano. A Dutch team has investigated ash fall deposits, finding the age of the materials to be a good match for the so-called Mayan "hiatus". This was a time when the sophisticated central Americans experienced cultural upheaval and political instability. They also abandoned many of their favoured lowland sites. A sulphur spike in ice core records from the poles indicates there was a big eruption somewhere on Earth in AD 540 - right at the start of the multi-decade hiatus.  April 20 http://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-36086096

The current powerful  Jupiter-Saturn-Neptune T-square aligned with the Nodes is  creating exceptionally strong geophysical resonances that are responsible for the many earthquakes that we are witnessing the world over. The March 9 solar eclipse fell on the Neptune leg of the T-square and was placed in the 3rd house in hard aspect to the meridian at Vienna where the European Geosciences Union General Assembly is taking place. In mundane astrology, the 3rd house rules all means of disseminating news and information so that it is quite appropriate for the Dutch team to reveal its findings particularly at this meeting and that too where the research pointed to volcanic activity at El Chichon in southern Mexico. Coincidentally, under the eclipse stars Diana Rosenberg lists “history and paradigm altering events” also stating that these stars were transited at the Jan,75 CE solar eclipse (path over Vesuvius) 4.6 years before the great eruption of 79 CE and at the explosive 1980 eruption of Mount St. Helen. Opposite the eclipse is Jupiter and the North Node. Jupiter is conjunct the star Mizar which is linked to “raw fiery energies” and “mass calamities” [1]. The North Node is conjunct the star Alkes, alpha Crater [2].  Among other things, the constellation Crater or the Cup refers to a volcanic crater!

Finally, if we progress the eclipse chart to April 20, the date of the news, the T-square aligns with the meridian suggesting that its elements and the relevant stars would be highlighted by events on that day.
