Neptune – the ruler of “foam”
An
unexplained carpet of foamy bubbles filled streets in the centre of the
southern Japanese city of Fukuoka in the early hours of Saturday morning –
shortly after tremors from a devastating earthquake of magnitude 7.3 shook the
town. http://goo.gl/ILWnR5
Mars has just
stationed retrograde on April 17 conjunct the star Antares which in the last
post [1] we saw is associated with massive earthquakes. A chart for this
mundane event has Mars at the apex of a T-square with Jupiter-Neptune
straddling the meridian at Fukuoka, Japan. Neptune on the IC is conjunct kappa
Pegasi, in the forefoot of the Flying Horse Pegasus. Poseidon, later adopted
into Roman myth as Neptune was known as “Earthshaker”. Poseidon mated with Medusa - the only mortal
gorgon – and she gave birth to their child, the winged horse Pegasus. It was
said of Pegasus that earthquakes took
place when he stomped his feet so that Diana Rosenberg links this area with
“unusually powerful earthquakes”.
But the power
of Neptune can be seen working in our lives on so many levels that it
absolutely boggles the mind! Most of us, however, are largely unaware of the
all-pervasive influence this mysterious and fascinating planet has on us. Since Neptune rules illusions and all things
that have no substance, it also governs
fogs and foams! And since the fourth house is connected with “land” and
anything that comes from beneath the
earth [2], Neptune here is releasing “foam” from beneath the earth!
