Symbolic Meaning of the Collision of Neutron Stars

Four times in the past 2 years, physicists working with mammoth gravitational wave detectors have sensed something go bump in the night, sending invisible ripples through spacetime. Today, (Oct.16) they announced the detection of a fifth such disturbance—but this time astronomers saw it, too, at every wavelength of light from gamma radiation to radio waves. Just as physicists had predicted, the unprecedented view of the cosmic cataclysm—in which two superdense neutron stars spiraled into each other—brought with it a cornucopia of insights, each of which by itself would count as a major scientific advance. Astronomers have identified the source of the gravitational wave as coming from the galaxy NGC 4993. NGC 4993 (also catalogued as NGC 4994) is an elliptical galaxy in the constellation Hydra, discovered in 1789 by William Herschel. It is said that the event reveals a hypothesized object called a kilonova, because it briefly shines thousands of times brighter than an ordinary nova. The word nova means “new”. A new star is being born and metaphorically it implies that one must endure a transitional phase in one’s evolution. A kilonova would contain the same principles of agenda as a nova but with a stronger spiritual emphasis. A nova may be content to adjust psychology and behavior on a relatively superficial level compared to a kilonova which insists on taking a major step in spiritual evolution.

The celestial co-ordinates of NGC 4993 are Right ascension 13h 09m 47.2s; Declination −23° 23′ 4″. The ecliptic longitude is therefore 205° 06′ 35″ (25li). The most prominent stars close to this longitude are Spica, alpha Virgo and Arcturus, alpha Bootes (24li).

Boötes, who is of pure intent, is the Virgin's consort and protector. Boötes stands directly over this creative process exemplified by the Virgin giving birth. In our stellar image, Boötes stands against the fallen (corrupt) religious-political authoritarian global powers (articulated by nearby Benetnash of Ursa Major) who claim to be the intermediaries between God and man, who wish to manipulate evolutionary affairs, and who have demonstrated over and again the inability to ensure such evolutionary fulfillment with the continual destruction of the peoples of the Earth, along with typical catastrophic outcomes. The body of Boötes stands over and protects the pure lucida of the Virgin (Spica) while blocking the manipulations of corrupt totalitarian powers and their diversionary tactics, the latter articulated by Canes Venatici, the barking dogs, which lies immediately south of Benetnash. Boötes ensures proper environmental conditions for the safe pure birth and subsequent capacity for ascension of souls. Boötes defends the Northern Crown, which lies just east of his staff and above the feet of the Virgin and the Chelae of the Scorpion. Over the past few years, especially after the end of the Mayan calendar in 2012, several mediums have been telling us that the Earth/Terra and all its people are about to go through major changes, a major stage of growth, a  shift-up  in  vibration, called “upliftment”.   It is a completely new vibration, new higher consciousness & awareness, a new existence… for  the first time in our planet’s history it is becoming possible to overcome the slavery to alien races often referred to as the Annunaki. The transformation is expected to occur along with significant cosmic  events. It is quite likely that the celestial event (collision of two neutron stars) reported here is one major indicator of this change.

Finally we notice  that the announcement  (Oct.16) by the astronomers comes just before a New Moon at 26 Libra within a degree of the celestial event. This is also within two degrees of the Ascendant of the Solar Eclipse of August 21 (at Hanford: location of LIGO)  in Leo – a sign astrologers associate with the royalty and the noble  metal gold. At a deeper psychological level, Leo is connected with integrity i.e. a life lived according to one’s own inner soul impulses and not in subservience  to outer social conventions which would be more appropriate for a slave (lead) and not a king (gold).

Astronomers have long suspected that explosions of neutron stars produced many of the heavier elements in the universe, including precious metals like gold and silver. It is widely believed that ancient alchemists were looking for ways  to transform "base metals" (e.g., lead) into "noble metals" (particularly gold). Modern discussions of alchemy are generally split into an examination of its exoteric practical applications and its esoteric spiritual aspects. Jung reminds us of the dual nature of alchemy, comprising both the chemical process and a parallel mystical component - the raising of man’s base nature (lead) to a godlike nature (gold).
