Antares – "the Heart of the Scorpion"
Can
you die of a broken heart? Science says yes. In fact, researchers from the
University of Aberdeen have shown that a broken heart can lead to the same type
of long-term damage as a heart attack.
Around
3,000 people each year in the UK suffer from takotsubo syndrome, more commonly
known as "broken heart syndrome," and which can be brought on by
mental stress. The syndrome causes the heart muscle to weaken, which in turn
prevents the heart from pumping blood properly during each heartbeat. Nov.14 https://sptnkne.ws/fWqg
The monthly rhythm of the Lunation Cycle (the cycle of
relationship between the Sun and the Moon) is perhaps the most important planetary
cycle to live by in order to realize success, satisfaction and fulfillment. The
ancients were well aware of this natural cycle, and planned and executed
important activities according to its rhythm. While a Moon phase is a worldwide
event, its message becomes specific for a place through planets that aspect the
angles. A chart for the Waning Crescent
Moon of November 14 (the date of the news) drawn for Aberdeen where the
research was carried out is shown here.
On the MC is Mercury in hard aspect to Neptune and Uranus.
Both Mercury [12sa] and the MC [11sa] are conjunct the asteroid EROS [7sa] and
the star ANTARES [10sa]. Alpha (α) Scorpius, Antares, is a red binary star,
fiery red and emerald green, near the center of the constellation Scorpius and
was sometimes called "the Heart of the Scorpion". At her website [1],
Martha Wescott defines Eros as below:
EROS: Sexuality; reproductive organs; the heart & cardiac
system; the history, experience and behavioral repertoire of eroticism; joie de
vivre; what “turns you on;” the Will to Live (the “passion” for life.)
So not only does EROS rule sexuality it also rules the heart
and cardiac system. With Eros making a square to Neptune and a sesqui-square to
Uranus we have:
Eros-Neptune: Disappointment or disillusionment in sexuality, love
affairs and matters of the heart.
Eros-Uranus: a heart attack.
In her book Secrets of the Ancient Skies, Diana Rosenberg
writing about the star Antares states:
Royal-and-war-star Antares, the fiery red heart of the sky-Scorpion,
stands for the anguished, oft-broken heart of humankind.
She then goes on to list “heart attacks and heart ailments”
under this star.
