Believe the Chart…

Poet Sappho on the Isle of Lesbos

Australians have overwhelmingly voted in favour of legalising same-sex marriage in a historic poll. The non-binding postal vote showed 61.6% of people favour allowing same-sex couples to wed, the Australian Bureau of Statistics said. Jubilant supporters have been celebrating in public spaces, waving rainbow flags and singing and dancing. A bill to change the law was introduced into the Senate late on Wednesday. It will now be debated for amendments. Nov.15 http://www.bbc.com/news/world-australia-41992344

A major change, as in Australia, legalising same-sex marriage should appear in the nation’s chart. The horoscope of Australia as provided by Nicholas Campion in his "The Book of World Horoscopes" (Second Edition), pp. 79-81 [1] is reproduced here with the TNPs added. We shall see, in this case,  how powerful and accurate  the Trans-Neptunian points can be.
Straightway, we can see that the TNP Kronos (laws), TNP Cupido (marriage) and the Sun form a T-square with Kronos on the Ascendant. With Pluto transiting opposite Cupido and square Kronos changes in laws of marriage become possible.

Because of Pluto′s slow orbit, when he transits an area of your chart or makes an impact to one of your natal planets, that influence is going to be long-lasting, far-reaching and profound. How uncomfortable it gets depends on whether you′re paying attention to the changes that need to take place, ignoring your call for transformation, or just trying to cling to what wants to naturally evolve.

On September 29, Pluto stationed to go direct at [16cp] conjunct TNP Cupido [16cp]. This was followed by the October 20 New Moon that not only aligned with the radix horizon axis but was also placed on the horizon axis  in the mundane chart. A Libra New Moon in aspect to Uranus-Cupido was once again hinting at changes in the issue of marriage and relationships. Now a Mars [17li]  - Pluto [17cp] exact on November 19 triggers the radix Cupido-Kronos square.

But that is not all. The secondary progressed Ascendant [0le] makes hard aspects to the Pluto [16ge] – Uranus [14sa] opposition and as it does so it conjoins the asteroid Sappho [1le]. Sappho rules same-sex relationships while Uranus-Pluto according to Ebertin is the collapse of an old order and the beginning of a new one. So there we have it. The asteroid provides the missing detail. The changes in marriage laws pertain to same-sex relationships.
