Yesterday
the ruling Salman clan in Saudi Arabia executed a Night of the Long Knifes
cleansing the state of all potential competition. The Saudi King Salman and his
son Clown Prince Mohammad bin Salman initiated a large arrest wave and purge of
high ranking princes and officials. Part of this internal coup was the
confiscation of huge financial estates to the advantage of the Salman clan.
In
Saudi Arabia eleven princes, including sons of the deceased King Abdullah, more
than thirty former and acting ministers as well as the heads of three major TV
stations were taken into custody or put under house arrest. http://www.moonofalabama.org/2017/11/saudi-purge.html#more
To understand the news, I refer readers to an earlier
post, Astrology of the Saudi Power Struggle [1]. The major direction in the
Saudi horoscope, progressed Sun[25sa]
opposite Moon[25ge] was triggered by the
November 4th Full Moon [11ta] making hard aspects to both ends of
the Sun-Moon opposition. Moreover the Full Moon conjoined the radix TNP Kronos [11ta]
and squared TNP Zeus [11le]. Martha Wescott delineates the combination
Kronos-Zeus as under.
Kronos-Zeus: leaders
or governments on the edge of restraint; events that trigger authoritative
actions; to see a leader set priorities and maintain resolve; governments,
leaders, laws or regulations that alarm, arouse or anger.
Nick Fiorenza describes the meaning of the stars that
conjoin the Full Moon:
Sharatan, Mesartim
and Hamal of Aries form the head of the ram. Sharatan, the Beta star of the
Ram, one of the horns, and Mesartim, the mouth of the ram, are portents of an
applied force to change. They support new beginnings, adventure, transmutation
and great rewards; but they are of opportunities that may quickly open and
close, and thus require our immediate response to grasp them without hesitation
when they occur. Sharatan provides a sign that it is a time to take action or
to create change; but also provides a warning that headstrong pursuits driven
from arrogant righteousness or adamant denial can perpetuate the human cry in
the initiatory fires of life. Either way, these stars impel us to initiate
personal action to take the lead in our individual lives.
Schedar, Alpha
Cassiopeia, the head of the Queen, conjoining Hamal, impels more of an
authoritarian expression, with a prideful and arrogant tone, often due to being
lost in the glitter of power upon the human stage. Schedar and Hamal can
manifest as struggle in the physical world due to forceful, insistent, or
arrogant ways. They can express as power struggles amongst leaders or those who
are headstrong, with lessons about how arrogance creates struggle in the
material world verses how benevolence and compassion opens the way through.
